NBA Playoffs: Minnesota Timberwolves vs OKC Thunder (Game Five)

OKC has been one of the best two teams in the league and have sat atop the Western Conference Standings throughout the regular season. The Thunder have become a team that is learning as it gets more playoff experience. Many of those learning experiences and the growth that comes along with it occurred during the 7-game series with the Nuggets. In that series, OKC showed resilience after losing the lead twice in the series and bouncing back to even things up. That same resilience showed up in game four of this series with the Timberwolves.

After a disappointing showing in last season’s playoffs, OKC has displayed the characteristics of a team ready to make the leap onto the NBA Finals stage. It looks like there is a new power in the West. The scariest thought for other teams is that this team can still get better.
