MLB: Chicago Cubs vs Los Angeles Dodgers

Ohtani and the Dodgers look to bounce back against the Cubs.

The Cubs and Dodgers will meet for the series on Sunday Night Baseball at Chez Ravine. The Cubs picked up their first win over the Dodgers this season and did in an emphatic way. I must admit that when I caught this score in the sportsbook on Saturday night I did a triple take. Keep in mind that this game was 2-0 heading into the top of the 7th. However, from that point, the Cubs bats went nuclear delivering 14 runs on 15 hits in the final three innings.

The Cubs are the current league leader in runs scored with 112. Chicago is the only team that has crossed the 100-run mark thus far this season and also have a league leading +41 run differential.

The 16-0 loss marked the Dodgers’ worst home shutout loss in franchise history. It will be interesting to see how the Dodgers and their bats respond tonight.
