Was it Written?
Some of you that are reading this may recall that we had to go through a site redesign a few months ago. During that time as we were designing the NHL page, we decided to put up the odds available to win the Western Conference. This was in March of 2025.
At the time, the two teams with the shortest odds to win the Western Conference were the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers. So this matchup may not be as much of a surprise to those that follow the NHL religiously.
Or is it?
Keep in mind that neither the Stars nor the Oilers actually finished atop their respective divisions.
Yet, here they both are.
And to make your head spin just a little bit more. The same scenario is taking place in the Eastern Conference with the Panthers and Canes.
Just some food for thought.
