NCAA Women’s Final Four: UConn vs UCLA

The buzz surrounding the Women’s Final Four has been much quieter this season as the Caitlin Clark Effect shifted to the WNBA. However, the games are still highly contested and entertaining. Although the highly anticipated JuJu versus Paige matchup did not come to fruition due to an unfortunate injury to the former, there is still much to appreciate as the women’s game continues to deliver.

UConn seems to be on a mission. The team has not lost a game since February 6th. In fact, outside of UConn’s three losses this season, this team has won all 35 games by double digits.

On the other side, UCLA has played more close games than the Huskies. However, the Bruins started the season 23-0 before falling to JuJu and USC in the rivalry game. Even though the Bruins are the one seed, the team comes in as a decent sized underdog in this Final Four matchup.

That could serve as motivation. But will it be enough?
