NBA: Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks

With four games remaining, the Celtics are, at worst, locked into the second spot in the Eastern Conference heading into the playoffs. Boston trails Cleveland by four games but it is highly unlikely that the Celtics will even attempt to chase that longshot top seed scenario as the Cavs only need to win one game to clinch home court throughout the playoffs.

The Knicks are sitting comfortably in third place in the standings and lead the fourth place Pacers by three games. If the playoffs started today, New York would face upstart Detroit in the first round. That may not be such an easy matchup for the Knicks but it is better than falling into fourth place and potentially facing Giannis and the Bucks in the first round.

Before making any bets, keep in mind that this is the time in the NBA season when we have to pay attention to the lineups ahead of tipoff. Teams start using those injury reports to their advantage. Many key players will be resting and getting healthy for the start of the playoffs in less than two weeks.
