MLB: New York Yankees vs Pittsburgh Pirates

Bouncing Back in the Burgh

After sweeping the Brewers, the Yankees dropped a home series to the Diamondbacks where the Bombers scored exactly one less run than Arizona. On Friday, the Yankees bounced back by taking an early lead and never looking back. By the middle of the fourth inning, the score was 7-1 and the rest of the game was a bit of a breeze.

Unfortunately for the Pirates, it happens to be one of the franchises that will suffer when it comes to spending on the roster. The Yankees, on the other hand, generate enough revenue to spare no expense. It is why when it comes to the business and money side of things, New York should take these types of series consistently. It is also why Yankee fans don’t want to hear any excuses for coming up short in October.
