The Yankees answered the call early with a solo shot in the top of the first from Aaron Judge’s smoking hot bat. Ohtani responded with a solo shot of his own in the bottom of the first. From that point, we were in for something special.
The Dodgers took game one of this World Series rematch 8-6 with a flurry of scoring in the back half of the game. On Saturday, the Yankees will send Will Warren to the bump looking to even things up.
