No one, not even Dodgers’ superfans actually believed that the Dodgers would go 162-0 on the season. However, the first loss of the season in the Dodgers first true road in Philadelphia offered us a glimpse into what could be a fantastic October. It is rare that you come across playoff type atmospheres in MLB in April. Yet, that could be the fate for the super hyped Dodgers this season as fans want to get up close and personal with this L.A. team.
Perhaps it was fitting that it was the Phillies that channeled its inner underdog Rocky Balboa mentality and served up the first loss to the Dodgers.
