NFL: San Francisco 49ers vs Indianapolis Colts
One thing all of us movie buffs know is that sequels rarely outperform the originals. However, in my humble opinion, there are a few sequels that were better than their predecessors such as:
Aliens
Captain America: Winter Soldier
The Dark Knight
The Empire Strikes Back
Superman II
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
My list goes on, but certainly does not include Predator 2, Rocky 2, or Matrix Reloaded to name a few.
On Monday Night Football, we have Philip Rivers starring as Grandpa Gunslinger in his second start since coming out of retirement. Given the fact that he gave the Seahawks all they wanted in his first performance, the expectations have risen.
But will the sequel outperform the original?
